Any ideas why a seemingly healthy Jacob ram's wool would all fall out, practically overnight? She says he's "bald" all over....also depressed and not eating well.
I've googled til I'm blue in the face and not getting much.
My first thought would be nutritional or parasite...but the parasite issue wouldn't (I'd think) result in ALL OVER hair loss....would it?
Thanks in advance...

How much do they want to put into the sheep. You could have the vet do a scraping and see what is on the skin. Also bloodwork.
If they don't want to go that route, then I would treat for parasites right away along with looking into other options.

It could possibly be mange, doubtful, but possible. Give him a dose of ivomec injectible. That will take care of any mange, and most internal parasites if there are any. Should cost less than $1.00 for the shot. Ivomec is a subcutaneous injectible, and I would think that around 3 CC would be enough, unless the ram is very large. If I remember correctly, it takes about 1CC per 55 lbs, but read the label to be sure.

Update, the ram died and has been taken to a vet school for necropsy. More tests are being done but the post showed he had a hole in his heart, didn't close after he was born. No cause yet for the hairloss.
