Does anyone mix there own llama feed

I mix my own and was just wanting to see if there is anything different in yours.

Have to admit that I just buy the bagged stuff. With only 5 alpacas, it is just easier.

We sort of mix our own. We buy the bagged llama feed from the co-op but mix in 4 grain chicken scratch in a 1:1 ratio. They love it.

Thank goodness they eat hay & grass & not eat pure bagged feed like a dog, lol. lau For us also it's easy to just buy bags. wink

Too much work to mix your own feed unless you have a lot of animals.

Job 12:7-10
