What form of Cydectin are you using?
Sheep drench, injectable, or pour-on?
You shouldn't use pour on 'ectins' on goats as a pour on, they don't metabolize it the same as cows and it can build up in their system.
I won't give it to them orally b/c it smells like poison....
I just don't use the pour on, period.
The sheep drench is safe for preggos. The dosage for it is 1 cc per 11#...so it takes A LOT.
The injectable form is given orally at the rate of 1cc per 110#.
(That's the one I use.)
I haven't needed to use it on a preggo yet, but it *should* be as safe as the sheep drench, it's the same drug only concentrated.

I think Roll was saying she gives Cydectin injectable orally, as most of us do with any macrocytic lactone (aka "clear," or "...ectin") injectable dewormer.
In other words...dose him orally with about 0.5ml of injectable Cydectin.
