This is as good as I can get of her back side...She's been holding her tail like her ligs are gone but she just don't like to be touched ...

I can see just perfectly with the light hitting, she is hollowed out and appears to have ligs gone. The tail set looks mild-contraction having. She does look to have a bit of disharge, and from what I can see, good udder! Any mucus string?!
She is obviously out and about, so I would be monitoring her at dinner time, and have birthing pen ready for her. She looks very ready to me. If she comes up to you this evening affectionately, put her in birthing pen right away! Lol!!!

Can't wait to see babies!

I locked them up about 7 pm and still nothing yet, but she was already in the barn bedded down, so I didn't bother her, left her be, for now. I'll be going over first thing in the morning to see how she's doing and if any babies over there lol I can't wait to see the babies too! I told my husband i'm going baby crazy lol!!!

Well as of this morning no babies :( I'm getting very anxious for babies I guess LOL! But this is Star this morning, took a side view, top view and back view this morning.

(she has a very little drip this morning, sort of white, but not a lot hanging down...)
She was also "talking" to the babies this morning ... :fl

I was hoping for babies for you! Definitely looks like it will be soon!!

Are you leaving her with herd today or putting her in birthing pen?

Our new barn is still in works so I really don't have birthing pens *yet* We've always let them go and they usually come back to the old barn and have them there, been a few times I've had to go hunt them down and find them and carry babies back down the mountain to the barn then back up to get fourwheeler or whatever I rode up ... Star is out of Big Nannie from a few years ago, its BN's 5th freshening and Star's 2nd. Most of my goats it will be their 2nd go round and last year all but one had their kids in the barn ... So its gonna be 60 today and the rain has past for today, snow is slowly melting away, I'm hoping if these two decide to have them its today while its pretty!!!!:fl

Well sometime early this morning Star had 2 little billy goats!! Gonna take camera over here in a few but have a VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE One of the billies was laying in the sun near all the mud from yesterday's rain storms....I brought him back into the barn with his brother and mom and he won't stand, just wants to shake, his mouth feels warm not cold and he wont eat, I milked some of the colestrium out on my finger andwas giving it to him but he had to interest in it. I don't have any nutri-drench on hand and its a good way to get some What can I do for him?? Help please!!!!!

Ok, in the process of loading pictures of our new babies. Just spent the past hour cradling the weak one by our wood stove, got him good and warm. Moved Star and the 2 boys into my barn where we store our hay and feed to keep the boys out of this awfully cold wind today ... Milked some more colostrum and let him get a taste and now is eating on his own and standing a lot better! So excited to finally hear babies crying over at the barn. My oldest son did not want to leave his Star and babies this morning LOL as soon as my phone can upload pictures I'll post them!! 1 down 6 more to go...
