Starting to be a bit concerned about my girls. They are on day 160 and not signs of kidding. They are definitely pregnant. One is a first freshener and the other one is a 2nd timer. What is odd to me is they are both going to long. Any comments or advise appreciated. We do plan on calling our vet in the morning.
Girls are acting totally normal and even running in the morning.
Thanks

We had one that we know for sure was bred on a certain date, but apparently didn't settle and kidded 3 weeks later than the due date we had written down. Which would have been on her next heat cycle... Not sure if that's what you're experiencing but that was my experience. Hope that helps.

I have 3 does that I am positive of the date they were bred, but then I left the buck in with them…due to laziness on my part. They all look like they didn't take on the first breeding, but did on the 2nd. Their new due dates are next week. Could that have happened to yours?

We do not have a buck, so the girls went to their boyfriends house for 3 days. So, no mistake on dates. Last night we even went through texts back to November to see if we messed up on dates. Nope........... we are now on day 161-165. For both Nubians 100% unrelated does. Neither one is in distress they are just fat and pregnant. The vet says....... he is not that concerned unless they are in distress. Our goat mentor has never had one go past day 162. Mentor and Vet have known each other for years and have over 30 years each under their belt. It still freaks me the *#ll out as they are our babies.
I just worry about how big the kids are getting while they are still in there. Its also very odd to me both are holding off so long. You can feel the kids.
