Question about Worming and Diarrhea

My pigs are approx. 5 months old. They were wormed by the lady I bought them from at about 6-7 weeks of age. She used an injectable wormer. They have had diarrhea on and off since I've had them. Recently it seemed worse. No changes in food/environment/etc. I did notice a long white worm in one pigs stool. So I wormed them both with Ivomec pour-on. That was a week ago and they both still have diarrhea.

They seem to poop everywhere! Even in their food trough. We've raised pigs for 6+ years and they are all different I know, but typically the pigs pick one or two areas and use that as their toilet. These two go wherever. Even in their water! Their pen is pretty big for just two pigs.

I don't know what else to do. Can I worm them again in 2 weeks just to make sure the wormer got everything? Should I use a different wormer so that they don't build an immunity to the Ivomec? Is there a better wormer?

TIA!!

If you are seeing worms it may well be tapeworms. Which you would need a white wormer, like valbazen or safeguard. However, I would recommend getting a fecal test done at your vet. You may have trouble with coccidiosis, which will cause all sort of weird diarrhea.

Ok thank u! When I first noticed the diarrhea my first thought was E. coli or coccidiosis so I gave them three days of spectraguard. But it didn't help at all:/
