I have an approx. 4-5 month old nubian/boer cross nanny that I raised on bottle and weined when she was eating grain and grazing good. Today she was fine this morning but went to check water around lunch time and found her laying with her back down hill and unable to hold herself up. I fed her some more milk to help her and she drank some water and ate some clover i picked for her. She is still weak and I'm afraid I'm going to loose her. I already lost her sister to a coyote and do not want to loose another. Please help. And I am not near any vet or store more than an hour away ... Please help

Let me see if I understand...was she turned over on her back and unable to get up?

If so - you may need to prop her upright for awhile. I've actually lost two goats from getting flipped upside down. After being that way for awhile they find it hard to hold themselves upright, so prop some hay around her to keep her up. The other big problem with being upside down is that they will bloat. Watch her for bloat and treat her quickly if she looks bloated... massaging her rumen may help also.

You also need to know if there is an underlying reason she might have gotten down and unable to get up. I'd check inside her lower eyelids for color and if pale she probably needs deworming. I'd suggest a fecal but you mentioned that you are not near a vet. Can you run your own? Does she have an elevated temperature? If so, she might have an infection somewhere. There are so many reasons a goat can go down - I hope you figure this one out!
