How much are you feeding him per feeding and/or per day? Also get a sample of his feces tested for any potential "bugs" that the vaccines' haven't hit yet. Often the milk alone isn't what's causing him to scour--or what may turn into scours--but something else in his gut that's causing the lighter-coloured poop.

i took a sample to the vet they didn't find anything, said they worry he has a parasite that humans can get, but its to hard to test for?. i forget what he said it was, they gave him 2 more pills and a shot for the scours.. i really hope he makes it, he eats about 1250 ml a day right now.. not alot i try to get him to eat as much as possible

no they didn't, they gave him some white pills for parasites and a brown one to stop him up but neither worked, he then got the runs instead of pudding goo poo, i am currently trying some advice i seen on here and now he is back to pudding goo poo and more active, i am not sure what calk poo should look like as he is my first calk that's made it this long, we bought a heifer last year but she was sick and passed away 3 days later we aren't sure why but we know she hadn't had her shots, the people i bought her from had her in the back years of a subdivision, he is holding out pretty good it will be 2 weeks tomorrow, i am not sure how old he is, he got his front teeth in he didn't have any teeth 2 weeks ago.

Thicker-consistency poop is a sign of a more healthier calf than runnier poop (exceptions to not worry about is when cattle get onto fresh pasture from their old diet of dry hay). It sounds like he is on the road to recovery and feeling a lot better. Is the colour getting darker?

Maybe you can post a picture of him, I can probably guess his age, though it'll be more of a ballpark estimate than actual. :)

No it isn't getting darker, he got the runs again when I gave him 1 1/2q this morning so we are back on half n half, I don't know what could be wrong with my calf.

yesterday on plain milk with egg in it all he did was sleep, now today after being back on half milk half electrolytes he is up exploring, he is still hungry after 2q of the mix, and is doing a lot better on the mix then off the mix, maybe the milk replacer alone is to strong for him?, it calls for 10 oz to 2q, any ideas?
