Have you any idea what type of calves we have here? We purchased them from an amish farmer in TN. Not a very good picture, but I think they are camera shy...they keep turning their heads away from the camera! lol

Ok thanks...I have to google Gelbvieh and Beefmaster. Whatever they are we are pleased with them.

I'm going with Red Angus. They just have that 'look' and I also compared them to photos online of each. Their faces was closest to other Red Angus.

I was going to say beefmaster too, but Red Angus is far more closer. They certainly look like a couple of mutts (i.e., commercial crossbreds), since the one on the left almost looks like he's got some Limousin in him. Picture isn't great, but that's the best I can tell.
