I think much depends on the breed. Also genetics.
Of course handling makes a big difference too.
We have Nigerian Bucks, Mini- Mancha Bucks, Lamancha, and Kiko's
The kiko's were handled differently , they like face scratches and are very sweet but don't want hugs... except for our newest kid born here he loves "love". The Mini- Mancha's we brought in at 5 months (I think) they had been given human attention and were super sweet nut one showed some pushing issues which we nipped in the bud and dealt with , within 2 weeks... no problems. They are super sweet.
All the others (Nigies and Lamancha) are kissy lovey babies! We hug them, pet them, kiss them on their head and face, let them snuggle with us.
None of our Bucks do that obnoxious blubbering or screaming even during rut, they don't follow us pawing, grunting snorting none of that.
Truthfully, if one did, were that obnoxious... he' be gone.
When they go into a breeding pen (we hand breed- 15-20 minute visit or less) we are ok for them to make a lot of racket... but when they are done.... they do not behave that way.

We have one that is a new buckling... his line seems to have a lot of that obnoxious behavior. So far he displays none of that obnoxiousness. He is 8 months... if he ends up like his sire- he will be gone. Sire has great genetics but is super stupid during rut.

I have heard Boers, Alpine and Nubian bucks can be very difficult. I hope not as I want the latter two within the next few years.
