Hi i have taken over looking after 3 goats at a pub were i work
its all very new to me there was only 1 to start with then my boss got
2 more the original goat has changed he no longer calls to me wen
i go in to the yard i only had to say wheres my boy and he would answer me he keeps away from the new ones and i have to stand with him while he eats as other goat pushing him away im at a bit of a loss he realy isnt himself any help would be much appreciated.

So he is acting off? Is he eating/drinking normal? Runny pop? High temp? is he laying down lot was he wormed? What has he been eating?

Hi yes he is eating but i stand guard because there is one that is more dominant and will run him off he isnt running about like he used to and i dont know if he has been wormed as ive not long looked after them the two news ones have i was told when they arrived the set up for them is a enclosure at a pub there are also two pot belly pigs ive taken on i walk the goats every day but hugo isn't that interested in that also
there is no runny poop but he seems depressed is that possible

I have a doe who isnt very nice to the others but she is my herd queen she put everyone in there place she is the leader sounds to me the new goats our trying put him in his place but if you feel that he is being to bullied not getting enough they are always chaseing him off then separate them sometimes they can get injured badly I also have a doe nobody in my herd liked so I separate her in put her with a wether but they are probably just trying to see whos boss sometimes you just got to let them settle it just set in if you feel its getting worse or blood has ben drawn

Thank you for your help hugo is a lot happier separated him on and off for some time out and he seems better
