I wish I had taken pictures….my doe that did not make it, had two out of her three kids with bent legs. One of the bucklings walked on the front side of the first joint( not the knee and I don't know what it's called) and the doeling walked on the outside of her front hooves. Both look so much better after a couple days, but the doe is still pretty bowed out. Should I splint her legs or will they straighten on their own?

Sounds nutritional. You can splint but maybe also give some jump start or Selenium gel w/copper. I tthink the jump start has vit D and the other stuff... not sure though.

Their legs are almost straight now after a week. I think they were just packed inside their mom and needed time to stretch out!

It's amazing how resilient newborn baby goats are. Glad to hear they are doing okay now. It's hard to be goat grandpas and grandmas without worrying!

We've had a couple that seemed hyper extended like the elbow/knee was bent forward but it straightened out in a couple of days with no treatment
Glad yours are doing well
