I'm so happy to see all the welcome messages!!! I'm from Texas! Yee Haw! I have 2 boer goats. They are pets. They actually act like our dogs! Sadie was 1 year old on March 4th, Just 2 days ago. Chance is 9 months old. I got Sadie when she was 2 weeks old. I paid $25 for her. The mama goat had triplets and wouldn't feed Sadie. I bottle fed her and I honestly think that's one of the most favorite things I've ever done. I got Chance when he was only a few hours old. I live next to a goat farm. I was driving by one day and saw a mama goat and 2 babies. The mama and 1 baby was no where near the other baby. I watched for a while and then decided I needed to let the farmer know what was happening. I couldn't find him so I went Nd talked. To a friend of his and he told me the baby would probably die. I freaked out I told him. I'll take it to keep it from dying. He told me if I wanted it to go get it. So that's what we did. He had ants crawling in him and was so weak he could barely stand. I knew he had only been borna few hours because his cord was still wet and extremely long. I drive home with him in my arms and he has been my baby ever since.they are 2 very spoiled goats!!
