20150403_180948.jpg Update.... We have a baby boy! Earlier than we expected but doing great. Mommy's belly still looks big. How do I know when she is done?
No sign of placenta on ground ....wasn't present for birth.

It was yesterday afternoon sometime. I wasn't expecting him so I was just going out to feed and there he was.
They are both eating...she seems annoyed. I thought she would be more maternal, she did clean him and checks him. She just won't stand still for very long so he can nurse. Normal?

Is she a first freshener(FF), one of our FF just had 3 kids yesterday and is a little jumpy when the kids try to nurse. Check the size of her udder- if the kid is getting to nurse it wont be really full. This is all new to her, we have her and her kids in a pen so they can bond and not wonder far.

If she is a dairy breed you should probably milk her out twice a day with only a single, don't want the udder getting damaged or lopsided.

Her baby is on the left, he was born April 3rd. The two on the right are only a month younger.
