Well, after sort of thinking about it for a couple of years and then really thinking about it for a year and then planning it for a few months...yesterday I put a deposit on some goats! I'll be getting 3 Alpine goats. A doe, a doeling, and buckling. Well, he'll be wethered when I get him. So, I've got a lot to learn.

and the addictive world of goats. Started in 2012. I now have 4 adult Dwarf Nigerian does, 1 wether, 3 doelings, 2 Pygmy/Nigerian cross doelings, 2 soay sheep and 2 LSG's. Great Pyrenees. Saturday I am picking up another Nigerian doeling and a wether. Depsoit has been made on a buck from last years kids, to be picked up in October. Saturday I will be putting a deposit down on four more, 2 doelings, a buck and a wether. looking into also purchasing a pet quality buckling. Addictive.............oh yeah!!!!
