I bought a Buckling that will become my new herd sire. He was born January of this year. 6 months old. I believe he bred 2 of my does, one of which is smaller, and the other I refer to as monster doe. He is pretty small in stature which makes it unbelievable that he bred the monster doe. Could her have bred her even thought he is small than her?

Wow!! I kmow he is capable, because he gets to the smaller does easily, but I was kinda worried about the largest doe.

I breed pygmy bucks to Nubian does.... with a little ingenuity it can be done. I have backed my does up to a hay bale or a small ramp or even a low spot in the ground. If the buck is willing - he figures it out pretty quickly!

I am hoping that my buck, gets taller. His mother was a Nubian cross, but him and his brother are small, I have notice he got a bit bigger, but I haven't seen his brother since we picked him up. I know he bred my ND, and to my suprise he bred my Nubian.
