I'm Nate. I grew up in the city, and always wanted to farm. Since I have been able to buy some property, I have ideas about goats and pigs (of course I will start small). I will have questions for folks to answer.

Welcome from Texas. Before buying animals, read everything you can, ask questions, and read some more. Make sure you have proper shelter and the right kind of fencing for the animals you have. You will enjoy them much more if you aren't always chasing escapees. LOL Study predators, a nice piglet or goat dinner will bring the predators for miles around. Study the livestock guard fog forum. There is lots of info on this forum, just ho back and read past posts.

We are delighted to have you here!

Welcome from Ohio! Good luck with your plans. Sheep make nice livestock, too :)
