Tell ya what... I'd rather have these search engine robots scoping me out rather than the NSA, all encompassing, internet monitoring, recording, storing, secret files on every American that's going on... Just waiting to type the wrong thing and have drones send a hellfire missle at me. Course those tags (keywords) just added to my already growing dissident file.

Is there a way to turn all that superfluous stuff off so I don't have to see it, much less wade thru it??

From what I can visually see, the number of "ACTIVE" members has dropped, not increased with all the changes over the last 2-3 years. (from looking at the # of new posts each day and interaction between members--and no, that '#' is not a 'tag'--it stands for "number")
This is telling:

What superfluous stuff are you referring to @greybeard ? I use a couple of add-ons with my browser so don't see pop-ups or any advertising... is there other stuff you'd like to remove?

Do you have a metal roof on your house? I heard that it helps with that.

No... maybe on the next one? Might shoot for a metal roof coated w/lead paint to stop X-ray penetration as well. Don't want them gubmint drones peekin' in at me. :barnie For now, I try to make a habit of wearing my tinfoil hat whenever I'm online... I hear it blocks hackers and ID thieves too :th:gig:old:lol:

I think the tinfoil hat keeps aliens from reading your mind, but I'm not 100% sure. :)
