Does anyone have any unwanted wood and wood posts? Or round pen panels for a decent price? I am setting up and arena and round pen to train my horse in, just not looking to spend a fortune. They don't have to be pretty, just usable. Also, if you have any unwanted livestock things or horse things, let me know. On another note, if anyone is looking for scrap metal, there is a TON on my property that we need hauled off. :)

Check Craigslist, I find good deals on it. Check Farm + Garden, Materials, Free Stuff and General. Tractor Supply has 4"x8' treated wood posts on sale for $7.99 which is $2 off the regular price. The sale will end in a few days.

I also find good deals at Lowes on the cull rack outside of the lumber department. Recently we bought twelve 2"x8"x16' for only $32!! Normal price for ONE is $14. If you have a Lowes, McCoys or Home Depot near by, ask about the lumber cull rack. The lumber may be bowed or imperfect in some way, but we just built a 36'x36' barn, mostly with "cull" lumber. My chickens don't care one bit that their coop has "cull" lumber in it either. You might have to pile it up until you get enough to build your project, but it will save you a LOT of money.

Pallets. Pallets. Pallets. Most of the time they are FREE. You can screw them together and build fences and all kinds of stuff.
