Hello! :frow

I am not very good at these but my name is Aleksandra. I am originally from Lithuania but grew up in Washington, DC. When I turned 18 I moved out to Colorado to pursue my passion for the outdoors, more natural living and to fulfill my adrenaline junkie desires, haha. I have just under 5 acres of land in Northern Colorado with my partner. So far I have pheasants, turkeys, chickens, doves, quail, ducks, rabbits, sheep and three dogs! I'm really trying to take the Lithuanian culture and practices here to my little farm.
When I am not farming or acquiring more animals (I have a really bad habit of that), I like to go off-roading in my fully rigged Jeep Wrangler, backpacking, hiking, mountaineering, summit 14ers, compete in obstacle races and fun runs or half marathons (working to a full!).
I work part time as an office manager for a medical practice and am the co-owner of a contract engineering firm my partner and I started. He is the brains/genius, I do all the accounting and communications :p (I tell people he can figure out how to support life on mars but cannot tie his shoes)

So if you didn't think I was crazy before, now you know that I am! I am very excited to have this valuable resource and I look forward to hopefully getting to know some you all

Well, that answers the "why" I posted in your pic introduction :D =D Welcome to Colorado! I'm a bit south and east of you in the Brighton area, but am really looking to move out of Colorado some time later this year. Sounds like you lead a very full & busy life!
