@Latestarter She. Was. Miserable.

I got home this evening and she was hiding in her trash can. I knew then but left her alone for a few hours while I messed with the goats. I heard four screams and no more so I wanted to check on her. She did great, was even cleaning up the placenta when I walked up. She growled at me while I gave the piglets onceovers.

They're all doing very well though.

Baby pigs are so cute and yours are beyond cute! Love the "tuxedo" markings and the "blue merle" spots! :love

Rita has developed milk fever. We've drenched her and given her calcium. Her temperature is low. We found her in the mid hole when we got home. I don't know if we found her in time. We've moved her to dry ground and done all we can. Rita has adopted her piglets so we're okay there... no bottle raising tiny piglets.

Toni's piglets have tripled in size. I just hope the smaller piglets can keep up. We lost one today, found it close to Rita. I think it got overheated today.

It's been a tough year here.
