Trying to get some Goats

So here's the scoop. There is a sale pending, but the person hasn't gotten back to the breeder so I still have a chance. I've been looking at all these different breeders and she was the only one who had doelings listed as pets.

So the doelings got sold and my dad once more said "No Goats!"

But I'm not one to give up easily. I have decided to go with @Goat Whisperer suggestion and save up for some really nice animals. I have a plan on how to section off part of the field and build a simple yet effective shelter. I am hoping to save money and be able to purchase some doelings in the fall. I have been emailing the breeder back and forth and she is so knowledgeable, they have also posted their 2017 kidding schedule and once I get an idea on pricing, I will try to reserve some kids. It's gonna be awhile before I can afford this dream, but until then, I can slowly get my dad on board.

As long as your Dad is okay with it, sounds like you have a good plan. Sometimes waiting and saving for a particular animal so much better in the long run :)
