Hello,
We have a 1 1/2 yr old nubian buck and he has started chasing/i guess rutting my does. The girls were knocking him down at first when he would try to breed and now they stand there. But its like he doesnt have the confidence to do the deed.:hide lol. Is he still to young? Or will he eventually get it? When we are down there in the field he will look at us like...help. And if we pet the girls he will then come and flirt. :loveBut he wont mount. Just a little frustrated to cause I want babies. And I want to give him a chance before getting another buck. (Of course he will not be going anywhere. I will bury this one. Lol) So any suggestions or what to do or not to do. Lol Thanks.

He is definitely old enough.
We bred one of our does to a 5 month old just the other day.
Was wondering if he was tall enough, but he got the job done.
We keep our bucks separate and just put them together when the doe is in heat.
