Personally I don't think it is any particular number.
There are IMO many factors to consider.

~History of the individual goat
~Breed of goat
~Age and Weight of Goat
~Lactating
~Lactating w/kids
~Meat Goat
~How far into lactation/last kidding
~Time of year/season

Much of the data written will say @ 1000EPG de-worm, some data says not til 2000EPG.

For now I will focus just on dairy goats.

A 60-70 lb Dwarf with an EPG of 1000 is going to be affected to...

1 week post deworming, what % of reduction should you see as a minimum?

Oh, I figured out a way to get by without a mechanical stage. I marked with a fine tipped sharpie and at the top and bottom of each chamber section with different colors in the order of the rainbow so I can tell where I am and it works great!

You can buy an mechanical stage attachment. :)
LOL I cannot imagine running a fecal without a stage. :eek:
