Hi everyone! I'm from a tiny town in Central Ohio. I was previously on the BYC site, but decided to shift from chickens to rabbits so here I am. I hope to make some friends and learn everything I can.

As for the animals that own our house, I have been told we should charge petting zoo prices when people visit. My husband and I have multiple cats, two dogs, two chickens, a cockatiel, a leopard gecko, a turtle and most recently I took in an unwanted American Fuzzy Lop. There is also a group of cats that run the neighborhood that hang out a lot. Yes, almost all of the animals are entirely my fault. I regret nothing! :D

Welcome from Seward AK!

How big is your town? I recently just moved from Lebanon OR to Seward AK along with my 6 siblings and parents. I am still getting use to the small city life.(I have lived in city's of 20,00 or more people so going to 4500 was a big difference).

We all Love/Like pics, so if you have a chance we would like to see pics of your critters:D.

@ TAH In 2010 the census had us at a population of 342. I doubt it's moved much since then. I've always lived in rural areas except for around 2 years when I lived in Chicago. We still go back for Christmas to visit my friend there and I dread it every time. I'm much happier here.

I don't think I have any current pictures of any of the animals. I guess I'll have to get some. :p

@ Baymule I actually had rabbits first. I've wanted to breed rabbits since I was around 6 and I've had pet rabbits off and on. The chickens were something I've only wanted in recent years. After two years of trying and constantly replacing them instead of getting eggs I gave up. I recently lost seven of eight chickens so I brought the remaining hen inside. I already had my only rooster inside so now we have two house chickens.

My husband wants goats, but we only have an acre of land. We're hoping to move to a house in our current township with a lot more property.

Welcome to BYH. There are actually quite a few active Rabbiteers here. Many raise them for meat but there is also a show contingent. I'm sure if you browse around in the rabbit section you'll find a wealth of information and shared knowledge/experience. Make yourself at home and join in as you will! Always good to have another person join the site!

Welcome to BYH!!! We are all happy to have you with us. As previously stated, there are TONS of rabbit and goat people here. There is a BYC website, which is more geared towards poultry people. Check it out!! I'm a rabbit person(mostly show rabbit breeding), so if you have questions, ask me or some of the other bunny people here.
