    So depending on the breed, 5# rabbit could be a stewer? so however old they are at 4-5# determines if they are fryers or roasters?.... Thanks!

    where did you get your midgets from? Have you weighed them? I ordered 2 holland whites from a hatchery for the heck of it when i ordered my broilers last year and i still have one of them. its the same size as my midgets! (My midgets are really midgets)

    A friend of mine does that.... i have the information she found here somewhere. She's happy with it. I just never tried it. I cant stand the smell of feed when ducks get it a little wet. LOL

    I love my dexters.... they are spunky little critters. Alot different than our holsteins.... besides size! I have sweetgrass, black winged bronze and midgets.

    Ive been raising rabbits for show, but really want to start utilizing them as a meat source. I have satins and silver fox (flemish too) that im looking at using for meat. What age or weight do I process them at? Fryers are younger rabbits, broilers older? Thanks
