where did you get your midgets from? Have you weighed them? I ordered 2 holland whites from a hatchery for the heck of it when i ordered my broilers last year and i still have one of them. its the same size as my midgets! (My midgets are really midgets)
A friend of mine does that.... i have the information she found here somewhere. She's happy with it. I just never tried it. I cant stand the smell of feed when ducks get it a little wet. LOL
A friend of mine is doing barley fodder and fermented feed for her chickens during the winter. whole barley has been hard to find. i give it to my rabbits, i would imagine beet seeds could be too. I pasture my layers and broilers in the summer and feed them too. turkeys go nuts over...

Ive been raising rabbits for show, but really want to start utilizing them as a meat source. I have satins and silver fox (flemish too) that im looking at using for meat. What age or weight do I process them at? Fryers are younger rabbits, broilers older? Thanks
