The thinking has long been that 90% (or higher) of rabbits carry Some Form of Pasturella. A herd may be immune to the variety in their home area and never show symptoms.
When one brings in a new animal... it might carry a Different variety of pasturella and then the main herd could become...

At one year they are Not too young. Quite a few breeders start their rabbits around 8 months... ( in fact i was recently told by a person that my 8 month old doe...was "An old maid"....lol)
The colors You ,mention sound very pretty... should be some lovely kits !
To show a rabbit has to be intact... ( un neutered) Maybe Your 4H has a Pet class, then perhaps a neutered animal might be allowed.
A buck "usually" sprays if there are does present that he finds interesting... If You do not have any female rabbits around he 'should' be fine. Does can get...
Clear snot is usually from allergies. Cream or yellow is usually snuffles. It sounds as tho You are in a really bad pollen situation...maybe give him something for allergies ???
CTD... It sounds as tho You're doing the right things by separating him... It very well could be just some gunk in his nose...if after a period of time he doesn't show any other symptoms...and no further sneezing...he might be fine. the separating and watching are Good things to do.

No. Give her the usual ration until she has her kits. Then increase her feed as the kits get bigger. Otherwise she will put on a lot of internal fat... and that will made it more difficult when she kindles.
Have You tried looking on the New York State Dairy Goat Breeders Association web site ??? they have a member listing...perhaps you might find someone close to You on that site .... just a thought...
Actually... Brother to sister 'could' be geneticly unrelated. Since Each animal gets only half its genetic make-up from each parent...in theory, they could each inherit completely different genes.... Most of the "do Not breed bro/sis"... is due to human squeamishness about incest...
Look pretty decent to me.
( and cute too)...( but Ya can't eat cute)...
Might try recording the weights and re-weigh in a week and see who is gaining faster... Hold the ones with the best gains... just a thought for future production.
Are they on Full Feed ?? ( feed in front at all...
Some of our rabbits Never do figure out the 'pin style' bottle. We had to go back to the ball type spigots... or crocks for those. Young litters that started out with the pin type did fine with them. They are Not my favorite kind of spigot.
Hi Ken, There are some Excellent breeders of Palominos in Oklahoma. ( not certain how far from You that would be.) There are a couple of people there that have had Convention winners
Also... if You go to the Palomino Rabbit Yahoo group You will probably get some good replies.
Good Luck !
I would third and fourth the checking out CraigsList. Every so often one can find decent rabbits on there. Also Google is a good option when searching. Just ask ...Rabbits and whatever state You might be in. It at the very least should come up with the state rabbit breeders association...
