Here is my page. Nothing too fancy, but it does the job. I sell a lot through facebook, more than my actually website at times
This may not be true of your area, but the registered sheep in my area sell for 2 and sometimes 3 times as much as crossbreeds.
Katahdins are the fastest growing sheep as far as popularity in America and most breeders sell out at least one year in advance.
If you have a nice flock with good...
They will eat those grasses just fine as long as it doesn't get too out of control.
Keep an eye on Craigslist, or you can visit www.katahdins.org
Most sheep on that website are going to be registered though.
What region of GA are you in? I had a few crossbred Katahdins I was selling, but...
If you scratch #11 off your list I would say go for hair sheep.
I live in South GA, and I can't imagine having wooled sheep... I am afraid they would have a heat stroke.
My Katahdins are a dream. They don't require much maintenance at all, mow the grass well, aren't loud, extremely friendly...

I cannot post the video straight to BYH but if you have a facebook you can see the video by clicking on this link. The link will take you to my farm page where that is last thing I posted...

I don't know if she is "too far gone" but have you tried milking her out to release some of the pressure? Don't milk her out completely (this stimulates making more milk) but just maybe 2/3 of the way. I would then give penicillin.
See if she pulls through. I have 4 ewes in my flock now...
The goats and sheep will share worms. That most likely is your problem if the goats have a high worm load.
Try giving them all a dose of cydectin. I have found that works best and fastest.
Ivomec only kills one type of worm dangerous to sheep (I can't remember which one off the top of my...
Yep something in people's mind only lets them think that sheep are solid white. People think of goats as being multi-colored for some reason.
They are in for a surprise when they come to my place.
I have many different colors in my flock including: red, brown, black, white, black and white...
