Thanks for the update. So glad Daisy's twins are doing great.
Glad to hear about Miss Flufferbottoms chicks. Sorry so many roos but chicken ARE yummy. Truly glad to hear one of your hens have picked up Miss Flutterbottom's habit. I know chickens are chickens, but it's nice to have one...
BTW, EleVan, how are your baby goats doing? I know you have had so much on your plate, but just curious. Hoping they are doing well and growing big.
And Ms. Flutterbottom's chicks? Hope they are doing well. I read that your chickens are really producing those eggs. Glad to hear.

lol. loved the last pic.
Like the cow commercials of the past, remember "Eat more chicken". lol
Turkey testicles, wow, never would have thought. And never will they pass these lips. YUCK! Sorry, don't do cow testicles, tongue or pigs feet either. YUCK

Wild Thing being sold? Don't they want Saanen? Or they just have too many goats to take care of? Shame if she and Mama are working things out through you.
But glad to hear Mama is Sleek, Fat and Healthy! Big turmoil moving, but it looks like everyone is settling in nicely. Even you...
I think it a wonderful plan. And as long as you and Mom sit down and talk about your space vs her space, I don't think you will have a problem.
I did it for years with my MIL next door. Actually shared a garden (her lot was bigger). All she cared about was making sure she got her half of...
Excellent to hear Queen Mum. Houdini, he's some special boy. So glad he enjoyed his special spot being scratched and decided "Hey, she's not THAT bad". lol
Keep it up with Jelly Bean. She will come around. And being in her condition, would that make her a bit more shy and standoffish...
Well, this is where we will be on February 5th, 2012

Loved reading your journal. You girls are really something. Working hard to keep all your animals happy, plus working to share them with people who need something in their life. And my HATS off to all those who take their animals to visit the sick. Henry was visited by a few dogs in CHOP...
Gus, if they are meat rabbits, I would think tagging their ear would be cheaper. Tattooing is good, but it does cost to have letters, numbers, etc. Meat rabbits are just that, for meat. It's not like you have to worry about their ears to sell them.
I would check out AZ Rabbits website...
Tagging to keep records? I've never heard of putting an ear tag (scrappie for goats) in a rabbit's ear. They tattoo rabbit's ears for pedigrees and Shows.
Is this for your meat rabbits operations? Would like to help, but I think everyone needs a little more detail of what you need to do...
Thanks SmallFarmGirl. And can't wait for the chance to show them off. As soon as I get them, you will know.
Again thanks, really appreciate your thoughtful post.

lol, if I really cared about age, I could always do what My Mother does. Says she's 39. lol. Been 39 for 20 years now, but hey you have humor your elders don't you.
Age is just a number.
