I have a doe that recently started hanging one ear down and shakes her head occasionally. I think it is an ear infection. I have dealt with many dogs with ear infections and have some rinse for dogs. Do goats need something special or can I use the same ear rinse solution for her?
I would like to see other Nigerian Dwarf bucks.
Here are my two bucks
Skeeter, 3 yrs old - bred by someone else
John Rambo, 3 weeks old - Skeeters son bred by me
On Jan 29th my last pregnant doe gave birth. She was loud all day but when it came time to push (early evening just before dusk) 3 kids were out in less than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how quick it was!
2 doelings and this buckling. Finally some doelings...
Hey southpay1964,
I love the hairdew on that white buck. My friend has a black Nigerian buck with a big curly hairdew. I want to use him in hopes of getting some goats with that hairdew.
If anyone was keeping up with my other posts here's an update.
The kids are doing great and the black and white kids who couldn't stand is now running, jumping and acting goofy along side his brother. I bottle fed the kids for the first three days to let mom recover however I think not having...
I forgot to mention that the wobbler is fine and walking and acting goofy right along side his brother. Mom is much happier with them.

Any experienced minds know if that's true or not?
I really want to re-introduce them to her as she has been calling for them but if I can't get any of her milk in them, they won't smell like her and she wont recognize them.
Thanks
My friend told me the same thing. She also said while the udder is hard don't try to get the kids to nurse or feed it back to them. Coco is looking much better today and I can see she put some weight back on. I wanted to try and start re-introducing the kids to her and getting them to nurse...
It's yellowish and very thick and when it cools it looks like wax.
I don't know if anyone was following my previous posts but this is the doe I just had to get a c-section on. I haven't tried to milk her until a while ago. I have milking her for about an hour and that is all that will come out...
