Castrating Pygmy

I want to get my Pygmy castrated, at this point he is 16 months. I know the vet will have to do this. Do you think it will cut down drastically on his need to be aggressive with the other goats. I know it should stop his need to be roughly loving with humans.

It probably will help initially once all the testosterone is out of his system, but then again it might not cut it out completely as goats are smart and he will still remember his own behavior and its connection to asserting his place in the herd. After castration you might have to modify his bad behavior with a squirt gun or a spray bottle of water when you find him continuing to bully other goats. Let us know how he does.
