The person we got our trio of adult Nigerian Dwarfs from said she was giving them alfalfa hay. (She did not say how often.) We had the vet come by and check them all out yesterday and he said that they only needed a little bit of alfalfa daily and for free choice he recommended brome. I know we need to get them something. This will be their fourth day without any. So far I've just been moving their temporary fencing around to different grassy areas.
We're getting our fence panels in on Wednesday to construct larger permanent enclosure and will also be constructing their shed. I assume that's we we leave their free choice hay, minerals and baking soda and they just go in and out as they please during the day?
Also, the vet says one of the does (as we suspected) might be pregnant. Does she need anything different or a supplement?
