THanks everyone ! I really appreciate all your opinions. I already bought him but he is now just going to be my son's pet as he's been begging me for a pup for 3 years! He's a sweetheart but he will not be a guard dog to the goats, maybe to us though

Great! I think that most people would not have listened and went on their way. I'm really glad that you saw so many of us saying that that really is not a good mix to be an LGD. Hopefully your son loves him and I'm sure he'll be a great family dog.
