Or how to drive myself batty with goats. We've had two healthy kids from Belle and a near-total disaster with Heidi. You can read about Heidi's Kid mess HERE.

The good news is that Honey is doing better. :celebrate

Here are Cinnamon and Nutmeg, "the Spice Girls" from Belle:

Welcome back! Here's a wild guess, but there is lamancha somewhere in Nutmeg's genes, right? Don't tell me Cinnamon is going to flaunt her ears over Nutmeg (who is such a darn cutie).

Mom (Belle) is a LaMancha. Dad (Oreo) is a LaMancha x Oberhasli (I think 1/4 Oberhasli), hence the girls' colors. And Cinnamon's adorable ears. So, we do get occasional long ears from breedings, which is okay because I don't show and they're just so darn cute anyway. They're bottle babies because Belle is a terrible mom. She won't nurse them or do much of anything with them. But she's my best milker. :idunno

Aww! So cute! :) And so glad Honey is doing better!! :) Looking forward to seeing a picture of her tomorrow!! :)

Ask and you shall receive! Here are her picts from last night:

Brought her outside today and fed her. She wanted to drink the whole bottle, but I was a meanie and only gave her 2/3rds. I don't need her to explode. She's so tiny. She liked her time out in the sun, but got tired. I gave her another 3 ccs of yogurt and more colostrum powder with the milk. :thumbsup

Love the pics! I'm a sucker for those LM ears!

So happy about Honey...... I am thinking she is a keeper ;)

She's bouncing back better now. Her big sisters are being sweet to her, which is good. I'll be moving her in with them once I'm 100% sure she's strong enough for them. I, too, am a sucker for LM ears -- or lack thereof. I do have to eventually figure out who is getting kept and sold, but at the moment, I'm just glad she's better.
