Hello everyone
I recently added come rabbits to our small hobbie farm in minnesota. At first i wasnt sure what rabbit breeds i wanted to keep but now after some time i watched my new rabbits i am going to be down sizing them. But, i did get bunnies avalible currently i have pure breed standard rex bunnies and one standard rex new zealand cross avalible. If anyone is intrested in them just let me know.

Thank you very much for your advice i do appreciate it but they are not seprated yet. They are only 6 weeks old but of course i am going to do so eventually. It's just not quit sure when will be the best age for that. They are currently still with their mom but it seems to me that she already stoped feeding them.

By the time bunnies are 6 weeks old, most of their nutrition comes from the food they eat, and some people may wean them at that age (or even younger - commercial breeders often wean at 4 weeks). I prefer to wait until they are 8 weeks; in some states, it is actually illegal to sell rabbits less than 8 weeks of age. But it is a good idea to separate by gender by the time the kits are 10 weeks old, since young does may become fertile as early as 12 weeks.

I would agree with Bunnylady, and say 6-8 weeks. (Thanks @Latestarter for your vote of confidence in my knowledge of rabbits, but if we're being totally honest, I have to admit I'm not an expert )

I always keep mom with babies u til 8 weeks unless mom's showing signs of aggression. I raise french lops and their systems seem to be much more fragile than most other breeds. Good luck and congratulations! They look very nice.
