I have a Lion Head female who will be 2 years in June. I did not know to groom her in the past, so she has a few mats by her tail:( They're too hard to cut off. Does anybody know if I can shave it off? Or should i try to cut it more?

I would think it is like a cat, when they get mats they fall off eventually. You could try shaving them off. I would be worried to cut them.

I don't know. A lot of rabbits get stressed from small things. Mine was a buck. You could risk it or leave it till the kits are older and then do it. If they have been like that for 2 years, a few more weeks won't kill her...
OK thanks!

we have angora's, they require regular grooming. A couple of our bucks like to sit under the water bottle and drip it into their fur  and so it will get matted. You can cut out the mats as long as you can do so carefully(we usually have 2 of us helping), we start at the outer most edge of the mat and work our way in- my DD usually will try and comb out as we work on it.

We found that a cat slicker brush and combs from dog grooming work well for us.

Given that she is going to have kits- you probably would be best waiting like @Samantha drawz suggested. We groom the does out right before breeding and then leave them to pull the fiber when they kid.
