Northern Nevada starting a self sufficiant farm

Hello all,
My husband and I bought an 11 acre farm in northern Nevada. We are city folks so this is all pretty new to us, and we are learning as we go. we started out with chickens, added turkeys and bees, and our next step is hooved critters. Dairy cow, sheep, and pigs.
