So I got pinky, my mini pot belly pig from a owner. When I bought her she told me she was pregnant, so I was aware. Although they couldn’t give me a definite date she’d be popping the babies out. The way the owners talked and according to today’s date she’s due any day now. Between now, and a week.

Can someone who’s experience look at her vulva, and her teats to maybe give me a ESTIMATED amount of time she might or possibly could go into labor.

This is my first pregnant pot belly pig, ever. These was the pictures I took today of pinky.

It makes it difficult when you multiple post to different threads. Always best to just post to one. Maybe you could go to your other one and delete it? Also, I hope you'll consider taking a minute to visit the new member's thread and introduce yourself so folks can welcome you properly. https://www.backyardherds.com/forums/new-member-introductions.17/

Greetings and welcome to BYH from NE TX! So glad you joined us. There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. I tag a few folks who have pig experience, maybe not with mini pot bellies, but pigs are pigs... @Farmer Connie @Ridgetop @Mini Horses @mysunwolf @luvmypets And I'm sure I've missed others. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. Old folks like me will never remember & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!

Welcome to BYH!

You were right with your estimate of "any day now." Each pig and situation is different, so it's impossible to judge based on a photo without knowing her or her family's history. That being said...

One thing to look for is the milk line: the swelling of the milk ducts creates a "line" horizontally across her belly, right above the teats. This happens a day or so before farrowing.

Another thing is actually checking the teats for milk by milking her a little. If it dribbles, she's within a few days. If it squirts out, she's within a few hours to a day or so!

As you can tell from the info above, pics of her when laying out are best for us to help you. IMO she has too much teat to be as close as you describe she may be. They generally are fuller and therefore, appear shorter. BUT...picture of her laying on side would help.:)
