I just went out to check the rabbit's and my doe Coco, who was due this upcoming Wednesday, had given birth to a litter of malformed and underformed kits and is in the process of dying. She's only two years old, she's a proven mother, she acted fine... WTF? Any ideas?

:hit sorry... can you palapated other kits inside? A retained kit maybe?
I dont feel anymore in there. She was dying. I just culled her. I have an appointment and unbreakable plans after, so I wrapped her up and put her on ice so I can do an autopsy and see what I can see in the morning.:hit

The kits we're all different stages of undeveloment... all much smaller than kits due in 2 days should have been... I've never seen that before... And my doe had what looked like a partially prolapsed uterus.

I forgot to put a graphic warning in the title and can't figure out how to edit it... Is it ok to post pics of the kits?... They are gross, but maybe someone has seen this before and has some ideas what went wrong.

Did you take the picturs down ? I was curious to see them.....
I have not posted them because I forgot to post a graphic warning in the tile and I can't figure out how to edit the title... Do you think it would be ok to post them anyway?
