Do you do any sort of mechanical "fluffing" of the wool to get the VM out? And to dry you just stick it out on racks? How do you keep the wind from blowing it away?

I shake it by hand, pick out what I can and the combs do the rest.
Squeeze as much water out as I can. I try not to wash on windy days. But on light days of wind, larger sections of wool usually won't blow away. Or I can put wire mesh on the wool.

Bunch is dry in house, rest was nearly dry, then storm suddenly came in. Lol. Almost dry again...

Eloise and Yamcha fleeces I'm using for the trade for Derrik and Ty blankets being spun up.

Kitchen is full of boxes, 6 medium and large, currently.

It's worth the hassle to move out fleeces and have alpaca spun up for me, as I hardly have the time.

Keeping these fleeces to do myself. Keep in mind, I still haven't finished spinning the first Billy fleece from 3yrs ago...
