I got a piglet Saturday at a swap meet. She's a Kunekune juliana cross but not sure on percentages. She will be 3 months old this week. I want to make sure I'm feeding her correctly. I'm feeding her mini pig food currently and shes in my garage due to bad storms. She will be outside if the storming ever stops lol
I want her to live a healthy life so I've tried to look up the right amount to feed but haven't seen anything so far. Any other pointers wove helpful too.

Here's a pic of Patricia

She's adorable!
I've been looking into getting a Juliana for years (found a breeder I love) but I don't have one yet...so I can't be much help other than what I've researched in the past few years. But i'm not sure with the Kune Kune mixed in... ;)
Are you feeding her Mazuri?
How much are you feeding her? And does she get any fresh fruits/veggies?

I really wanted a Kunekune, I like the look of them. The coloring and those wattle!
They were out at tsc so I got the mini pig feed at rural king. Theres no feeding guide so I've been giving her 1/2-3/4 cup 3x a day. I've been looking on what's safe fresh wise. No potatoes and sodium is bad so I'm not sure. Shes loves grass but so far nothing else. I tried lettuce since we had burgers on fathers day.

We had two "mini pigs" about six months ago....DON'T over feed her...they will gain weight fast, belly will start to drop to the floor, they will always act hungry, treats can be sliced apples, pears, love grapes....and un sugared cherrios....they need "entertainment, a kiddie pool, large balls and toys you can put treats in and they can work at getting the treat. Our girl Petunia would sit and dance for a treat...feed 1/ 2 to 3/4 only twice a day....you will be so sorry if you over feed your mini...it will not stay a mini, it will become a porker...and although it is a pet and cute now, beware of agressive behavior and correct it imediatly...they are very smart....but still can become dinner if they become mean :D

I'll grab some apples and stuff at the store today. The lady said the mom was 60lbs. I'm hoping Patricia stays about that weight. We have a garden going with tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce, watermelon and egg plant. I'm hoping so give her some of that too when we start getting some. IF this rain ever stops!
