Probiotic for kunekune pigs?

Has anyone given their pigs Goats Prefer Probiotic powder? I give it to my goats when off, and it seems to help...Since I have it, wondered if my pigs would benefit.

I know this is old, but I give Goats Prefer probiotics to all my animals. My vet said it was good for my dog. I also give it to the chickens and the caged pet birds. (Just in case anyone else ever wondered.)

Thanks! I’d read people giving it to their dogs, but not pigs (or chickens for that matter!). I try to keep everyone as healthy as I can.

Why not just ferment the pig's feed? They would get more nutrition from the feed, as fermenting it changes it to make the amino acids more available at a cellular level and it provides daily probiotics and prebiotics with every mouthful.

It's easily done....just add feed to water and wait a few days until it ferments, then just backslop your next bucket with part of the ferment from the first to jumpstart the new bucket and help it ferment faster.

Been doing it for chickens for years now and it changes the flavor of the eggs and meat, making them sweeter, more flavorful and cuts the feed bill nearly in half.
