Hay this boer doe has diarrhea. She isn’t mine but the owner is looking for a treatment.

Easiest to treat I you know why.

If she also has a low FAMACHA score then maybe worms. But i would also give her red cell, b complex, and pro biotics after worming.

Or.. if she is currently being shown at a fair, maybe someone fed her cotton candy!

Her FAMACHA score is good. I was thinking stress but they have been in their new home for a week now.

I’ll let them know about the electrolytes. Are they fine for the other doe that lives with her?
Her diarrhea seems thinker today. Hopefully she just got ahold of some bad hay or something.

Electrolytes are fine for everyone.

Do you know how to do a dehydration test?

Pinch the skin and then release. Fully hydrated should immediately go back to flat skin. The more extreme the dehydration, the slower the tent of skin will return to flat skin.

Try it on a fully hydrated doe, then on the dehydration doe. See how much of a difference there is. That will tell you how much to worry.

Also, if she is still making spit, that is a good sign.

She is hydrated. He poop is almost completely normal. They think she at some bad hay or didn’t eat enough hay. Thanks for the help
