I've have an older Pygmy does that is a bit chunky but she always has been. I bought a 2mth old dairy mix buckling in may. He has never smelled like he is in rut. She has milk I noticed today, it's watery but it's milk. She was acting rutty a few day ago she's the matriarch of the herd and I know sometimes they do when they are in season but then the milk happened. I've heard about maidens milk but never seen it. It's possible she's pregnant but I wouldn't think that far along?

If he's older than 8 weeks and they've been housed together there's a good chance she's pregnant and fairly far along. I'm not sure that's a good thing considering the size difference between a pygmy and a "dairy mix" kid, but that's the way it goes.
She could also just be getting keyed up for rut and sort of going into milk might be a way she's expressing it. Personally if you really want to know, I'd draw up 2ml of blood and send it to ubrl lab for a preg test in a red top tube. That's really the only for sure way to know.

X2

Highly unlikely that she is in milk and not pregnant.

That sort of thing tends to happen in high production milk breeds, I would think it would be incredibly unlikely in an older pygmy.
