I'm finally all up to date on my beekeeping journal. So, I think I will be posting bee related info there from now on. Except for bees and blooms, I'll continue to post those here too.

I meant to post this here, not in my beekeeping journal...Oops.

My daughter and SIL gave me this beautiful necklace for my birthday. Yesterday I showed it to my grandson and asked him what it was, he called it a dragonfly, he's into those right now, I corrected him and told him it was a bee. He reached out and gently took it in his little hand, with a sweet look on his face, then he pulled his hand away saying ow, with a mischievous grin. Our little boy is autistic, made my heart swell to see another development in his beautiful little personality. 💞💞💞

Always exciting when they start laying.
I love it. I'll soon have more than my family can eat. I have many friends that I share with.
I might look into dehydrating them. I think it would be good for baking, scrambled eggs, just not sure how feasible it will be.

You can freeze the eggs. Crack into a silicone cupcake pan and freeze. When frozen you can vacuum seal them in vacuum bags. Great for baking. Some people scramble (uncooked) then freeze, I just freeze.

Thank you, I'll have to try that this year! Since Covid, I have 3 freezers, so I should have room. We bought a 2nd, then our son gave us theirs when they moved.
