I have seen people get ultrasound (therapeutic) for heel spurs.
I've heard of that. If I'm still having issues after 4 weeks, he will give me a cortisone shot to help it relax the rest of the way. That wouldn't do any good right now with my calf muscle being so tight. I don't know what the plan will be if I still have issues with it after that. Maybe the ultrasound. They can also remove the spur and I'm guessing they could round the back of my heel off too, if it goes that far.

Good morning! Barn chores ✅ water buckets scrubbed ✅ stalls cleaned ✅ chickens watered ✅ chickens scratch toss ✅ irrigation ran ✅ and now it's time for coffee. Ahhhh.
Weather forecast is fickle! High was supposed to be 82, now it's 91, oops 94. Dang forecast won't hold still. Early this morning rain was (50% chance) forecast for Thursday., now it's 50% for Wednesday and 65% for Thursday. If I wait a bit who knows ?!!! I think it's spin the wheel. Thinking all that rain forecast will translate to 152 drops.
Cooking up a storm today - food wise. Making a bunch of meals for DS and DDIL. I got to hold DGS yesterday for a long time ooooohhh swoon 🥰🥰.

Nope. Don't do that. You can restore the calcium balance in your body with a homeopathic remedy Calc Fluor. It will dissolve the bone spur without taking shots or surgery. Take 4 tablets under the tongue 3 times a day. In 2-3 weeks the pain should be gone. If you take the shot of cortisone and or surgery, the imbalance that caused the bone spur in the first place will still be there and it can come back. You can search the web for a better price, but Hylands has an explanation for what each remedy is used for. I once had a bone spur so bad that I could hardly walk. I researched it online and found cell salts. I ordered the Calc Fluor and got relief in days. I took the remedies for 3 months and have never had another bone spur.

Oh and for your calf muscles being so tight and painful, use Arnicare rub and it comes in the pill remedy form also. When I had knee replacement surgery, I was one big bruise from my hip to my ankle, plus pain. I took the pills every 4 hours, and used the cream to rub on my leg every 4 hours. I ditched the hydrocodone and just used the Arnicare.

Dr. Baymule is on call for what ails you.

Woke up at 1-something. Gave up, got up at nearly 3. Having my cup of coffee. Paid bills yesterday, took Buford for a truck ride to post office, mailed bills, got another one. Yay.

I always keep the Arnicare rub cream on hand for sore muscles, bruises and painful spots. I like to keep the remedy tablets on hand for when my dogs get bit by copperheads. I give my dogs 4 tablets for the pain. Plus Benedryl and a baby aspirin.

Arnicare pills for snake bite?

I'm a big proponent for DMSO for muscle spasms, but I did get a tube of Arnicare to have on hand as an alternative remedy.

Yep. Can't rub the arnicare cream on a furry dog and they generally are in pain and don't want me messing with the snake bite wound. So the remedy pills work to give them some relief. I haven't had a snake bite on a dog since I moved here, but have killed some copperheads.

Cold & wet here. Had windows closed since yesterday morn. 68 inside this morn....biscuits in oven helped a little. Dang, 56 outside 😵‍💫 and misty rains. Reports say 1.3" locally, yesterday. Looked about that here. VA Beach, 50 miles away, got 6+" . Coastal system not gone yet. Another arrives in a couple days from western VA. Hoping @farmerjan is getting a really good soaking!!! @fuzzi maybe you got more last night :fl :D =D but NC wasn't getting as much as us when I saw radar

Back to work shortly. Only half a day, so no rush.
