Female rabbits can and very often are protective of their home. That is what it sounds like to me.
She comes at you when you enter HER space.
Some get over it some don't.
We have 2 Nubian boys that know exactly what an electric fence is. I have 2 strands of 1/2 wide electric tape and 2 strands of the yellow rope wire. They were hard headed at first and would walk right through it.

Well that is the issue, I will not be able to from the sounds of it. she was purchased to be a pet and they now have no time for her.
It is kind of a crap shoot, but she is only $75.

Well she is doing wonderful, she has been in the paddock and walked around the back field. She is still a bit Leary some times, but she is getting more and more used to us.
She has only been here since Saturday, and we can not get enough of her. We have her quarantined right now to get used to the noise and surroundings.
She gets walks and attention daily. We hope to get her into general population this weekend.
This is Angel, she is 10 years old, was a 4H show girl, and has been packed.
She hasn't really been handled in about 3 years so she is getting a regular regiment of love and attention.
She lives with 2 Nubian goats, to keep her company.

We found a local dairy farm that will be giving away pure bred nubs this spring. Our boys will be well able to breed by this point, but the female would obviously not be ready until the following spring. Would we be better off getting a mature female this spring or getting a baby and raising it...
