Probably a fisher cat, they can be really nasty to, if it sounds like a baby screeching in the woods at night, its most likely a fisher cat. can grow to be 40lbs, weasel like predator, will destroy hens and chickens just for the fun of it.

Woodsie, your lucky it's just coyotes and not Canadian Mackenzie Valley Wolves. Instead of putting more dogs at risk of death or injury, my best advice would be to sort it out with a firearm. Yes, this sounds awful, but it's the best and most cost affective way to handle this. A more humane way...
