Any updates on how those tattoo pens have worked for those of you that ordered them? I'm really thinking about going that route too for my lamanchas.

I have 3 lamancha does/1 buck and I'm breeding all staggered for year round milk production, which shouldn't really be an issue since this year 2 of my girls did just outstanding for their first year. 1st to be bred this Aug/Sept, 2nd likely in Oct-she's a stellar milker with no signs of slowing...

I just agreed to trade my 5 nigerian dwarf goats for 3 lovely alpaca to feed my fiber addiction! Yep. I'll be lurking these pages for info and questions in the next few months I am sure and I'll post pics when they are home sweet home. (I still have the lamancha herd so I won't go into goat...

I live in MN. I haven't even posted an ad for sale yet. I've been so busy planning by son's b-day party. LOL I have one person that is interested but doesn't have goats yet and is just getting started coming to look at her Wed.

Nigerian. Being a single and I have no other babies to put her with, she's essentially a house goat right now and boy does she ever tug at those heart strings.

Sounds like something I'm dealing with too. Vet thought it was ringworm and gave me antifungal spray.

I know it. She makes me want to show goats. I'm dyin' to keep her but I just can't do it right now. :hit I own the buck now though so at least I can repeat this breeding and hopefully get another one like her some day.

Sorry I've been MIA for quite some time... Nestle had a nice baby girl last week. She's had trips in the past but this year was just a big singleton. No problems with delivery though. :thumbsup What should I call her on her registration for color? Besides awesome, gorgeous, beautiful... :celebrate

Does anyone use these ? Normally I would not do electric fence but I have a mellow nigerian dwarf buck that I need to bring home soon and husb is too busy to put in a real fence until later this fall. So I was thinking that the 3.5' version might be an easy temporary fence that I can put up...

Think of how many goats out there are intentionally neglected. YOU are a wonderful goat mama for loving and caring for their well-being. I'm so sorry you lost him. He was super cute.
