Only if needed. Auromyacin(sp?) mixed in ground feed according to instructions when we have foul weather piglets, and only from weaning up to a month long if its nasty weather. A stitch in time ... ;)
Let your pigs be born on the ground/dirt and play on it etc and you won't need iron shots for them. Iron shots are for piglets born and raised on cement, wood flooring etc. Iron is plentiful in nearly every soil type.
You don't necessarily "need" to clip their teeth either unless the piglets...
It may just be their choice of taste? Our pigs do not like sour fruits such as lemons or limes. They aren't fond of potatos either but over time they do eat them I am assuming because the potatos disappear. Onions were an acquired taste for them but now they ravage them. Keep giving them.... ;)
A couple weeks would be hard to do if you don't have plenty of good quality pasture depending on how many pigs you have.
I figure we save about 10% or 15% on feed by pasturing. It helps keep the pigs occupied too.

Yes! Put a strand of electric fence about 8 to 10 inches high, making sure it does not touch the woven wire fence or anything else it can ground to. If you do not use electric fence in addition to your woven wire be prepared for escapes and damaged woven wire fence. Using the two fences...
